Numbrix beginner tips
Start at 1 and n²—those endpoints are always given. Sketch possible neighbors for 2 and for the second-to-last number before filling the middle.
When two clues are close in value (for example 8 and 11), the path between them is short—count the empty cells and force the only routes that fit.
Avoid painting yourself into a corner: if a cell would isolate an empty region that cannot hold the remaining sequence, backtrack early.
